Create Overhangs by Offsetting Edges
The first step when creating a drawing is to add overhangs. This is accomplished by offsetting measured edges to where they will eventually be cut.
Offsetting an Edge
- Click Offset
- Select Edge as the sub action if it is not already selected.
- Enter the amount of the overhang for the Offset > OK
- Toggle on/off
- Keep Original if the original edge should remain after the offset (recommended On).
- Revise Style if the offset edge should be drawn with a Finished edge style.
- Click the edge to offset.
- Click the direction to offset the edge.
