Capture Openings

LT3 makes it simple to capture openings if cabinet bases for stoves or dishwashers. To capture an opening, 

1.  Click Capture > Opening 
2.  Select Width as the Mode if it is not already selected.
3. Enter 30  for the Width.
4. Select the front edge of the cabinet line.
5. Rotate the LT onto a T-Target.
6. Click anywhere on the drawing area of the screen.
7. Rotate the LT onto the opposite edge of the opening. 
8. Click anywhere on the drawing area of the screen.

The opening that is drawn will be created based on the center of the two measurements that were captured in steps 5 – 8 above. If the opening that was measured is narrower than the width, a warning will indicate that.
